Rumors of War

Introduction

There have been many rumors of war recently as Russia and the United States have differing policies in regard to the war in Syria which is in great danger of escalating. Most of us have not had to live through a world war but there is now talk of WW3. You may have heard this quote:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." Albert Einstein

While I understand a different scenario based on what the Bible says, another world war involving the technology now available would be very scary and destructive for sure.

There is also a growing potential for violence within the United States as the election nears. This has been a very strange election campaign for sure. Here (as a last-minute addition to the newsletter) is a link to an interesting and surprising item on the Clinton-Trump relationship. Is the whole election process rigged from the start? There is much that goes on behind the scenes. For what is really going on behind the scenes that are behind the scenes I would encourage you to go to the Word of God - now there is a dependable source of information.

Note that I am simply sharing items of interest for your information. That does not imply that I agree with everything presented here or with other material that may be on a source's other web pages.

Rumors of War

Wars and Rumors of Wars Abound

David Haggith; Oct. 16, 2016

Rumors of War

Wars and rumors of wars are now filling the headlines as listed below with the most immediate top-level rumors of war being created by Russia among its own citizens.

Rumors of wars directly from the Kremlin

As tensions between the US and Russia have reached their highest since the Cold War, Russia denounced American duplicity last week and asked its own citizens whether they are ready for a nuclear attack. The Russian government cautioned people to know where their nearest bomb/fallout shelters are and know where their gas masks are in a drill that involved 40 million Russians. The Russia defense ministry explained to the public how the government would run under military control in the event of war. Russia deployed additional nuclear missiles in response to the US missile shield in Eastern Europe and tested new intercontinental ballistic missiles. Not bad for a week's news. (ABC News)

Yet, that was just one small part of the many rumors of war in the past week because the US government also issued top-level rumors of war.

Rumors of war directly from the White House

The Obama administration made formal accusations that Russia is engaged in cyber war with the US by interfering directly in US elections as more of Hillary Clinton's hacked emails went public. Russia slammed unprecedented US threats of retaliation against such cyber attacks, pointing out that the US has never demonstrated any evidence that the hacking came from Russia. Russia vowed to respond to what it said are false accusations but did not say what kind of response it meant.

After US Vice President Joe Biden's formal complaint against Russia, NBC reported that the CIA is planning a retaliatory cyber attack. Sources said the CIA has already begun selecting targets that will harass and embarrass the Russian government. The US has made such plans and then backed away in the past because such a move could launch an all-out cyber war in which Russia could be expected to retaliate with even worse measures, such as a shut down of the US electrical grid, rather than just exposure of embarrassing emails.

CONFIRMED: Russia is Deploying its ENTIRE Northern Fleet (and part of its Baltic Fleet) to Syria for Battle - this will be "it"

Newsroom, Oct. 19, 2016

Russian Carrier

NATO officials are now confirming what SuperStation95 first reported FIVE DAYS AGO -- in the latest escalation involving Syria, the Russian aircraft carrier Kuznetsov was now sailing past Norway on its way to Syria, where it is expected to arrive in just under 2 weeks. As part of the carrier naval group, Russia also deployed an escort of seven other Russian ships, which we dubbed the "most powerful Russian naval task force to sail in northern Europe since 2014" according to Russia's Nezavisimaya Gazeta daily reports.

It turns out it was more than this and as Reuters reported second ago, citing a NATO diplomat, Russia is in fact deploying the largest naval force since end of Cold War to reinforce its Syria campaign.

  • SENIOR NATO DIPLOMAT SAYS RUSSIA IS DEPLOYING ALL OF NORTHERN FLEET AND PART OF BALTIC FLEET TO REINFORCE SYRIA CAMPAIGN
  • DEPLOYMENT IS RUSSIA'S LARGEST NAVAL DEPLOYMENT SINCE END OF COLD WAR - NATO DIPLOMAT
  • DEPLOYMENT WILL INCREASE NUMBER OF RUSSIAN FIGHTER BOMBERS IN SYRIA, MOSCOW MAY LAUNCH FINAL AIR ASSAULT ON ALEPPO IN TWO WEEKS - NATO DIPLOMAT

U.S. Foreign Policy 'Elite' Eagerly Await an Expansion of Overseas Wars Under Hillary Clinton

Michael Krieger, Oct. 20, 2016

Clinton

Your average American Hillary Clinton supporter will smugly head to the polls on November 8th, entirely self-assured of his or her vital role in the defeat of fascism in these United States. It won't take long for such childish delusions to be vanquished by the horror of subsequent reckless and unnecessary imperial conflagrations that will be inevitably unleashed by their savior throughout the world.

The extreme dangers faced by the planet as a result of neocon warmonger Hillary Clinton becoming President have been apparent for a very long time. Oliver Stone and many others have vocally warned about it, and I've covered the topic on many occasions; including in the following posts:

Get Ready For Civil Unrest: Survey Finds That Most Americans Are Concerned About Election Violence

Michael Snyder, Oct. 26, 2016

Election-day Violence

Could we see violence no matter who wins on November 8th? Let's hope that it doesn't happen, but as you will see below, anti-Trump violence is already sweeping the nation. If Trump were to actually win the election, that would likely send the radical left into a violent post-election temper tantrum unlike anything that we have ever seen before. Alternatively, there is a tremendous amount of concern on the right that this election could be stolen by Hillary Clinton. And as I showed yesterday, it appears that voting machines in Texas are already switching votes from Donald Trump to Hillary Clinton. If Hillary Clinton wins this election under suspicious circumstances, that also may be enough to set off widespread civil unrest all across the country.

At this moment there is less than two weeks to go until November 8th, and a brand new survey has found that a majority of Americans are concerned "about the possibility of violence" on election day ...

A 51% majority of likely voters express at least some concern about the possibility of violence on Election Day; one in five are "very concerned." Three of four say they have confidence that the United States will have the peaceful transfer of power that has marked American democracy for more than 200 years, but just 40% say they are "very confident" about that.

More than four in 10 of Trump supporters say they won't recognize the legitimacy of Clinton as president, if she prevails, because they say she wouldn't have won fair and square.

But many on the left are not waiting until after the election to commit acts of violence. On Wednesday, Donald Trump's ...

Lifelong Democrat and Former RFK Speechwriter Comes Out For Trump

Michael Krieger; Sep. 22, 2016

Democrats for Trump

The 2016 election season has been revealing in all sorts of meaningful ways. We've seen countless mainstream Republicans, particularly neocons, come out and passionately endorse Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. More interesting than the fact they did this, was that they actually thought this would damage Trump. In contrast, it has helped him more than they could have ever imagined.

...

Let's start with some excerpts from yesterday's piece by Adam Walinsky at Politico, I Was RFK's Speechwriter. Now I'm Voting for Trump. Here's Why:

I was a Democrat all my life. I came to Washington to serve President John Kennedy and Attorney General Robert Kennedy. When the president was murdered and his brother struck off on his own, I joined his Senate campaign and staff as his legislative assistant and speechwriter, until his presidential campaign ended with his own assassination. I ran on a (losing) Democratic ticket in the New York state elections of 1970. When I was working to enact my own program of police reform in the 1980s and 1990s, then-Governor Bill Clinton was chairman of my National Committee for the Police Corps.

This year, I will vote to elect Donald Trump as president of the United States.

So profound a change, and a decent respect for old friendships, requires me to deliver a public accounting for this decision.

Here it is. John and Robert Kennedy devoted their greatest commitments and energies to the prevention of war and the preservation of peace. To them that was not an abstract formula but the necessary foundation of human life. But today's Democrats have become the Party of War: a home for arms merchants, mercenaries, academic war planners, lobbyists for every foreign intervention, promoters of color revolutions, failed generals, exploiters of the natural resources of corrupt governments.

America Is the Craziest, Worst Paid and Sickest of All the Modern Nations

Dave Hodges, Sep. 29, 2016

US Health

The United States is a nation in severe decline and it is beginning to show up in our mental health which is a reflection of the troubled political and economic times that we find ourselves in.

America's General Mental Health Report

In 2015, over 9.3 million Americans had serious thoughts of suicide during that year. During that same year, 43.8 million adults (age 18 or older) experienced a diagnosable mental illness as 2.7 million (1.1%) made suicide plans and 1.3 million (0.6%) attempted suicide.

...

America's Anxiety Levels

According to a presentation offered at the IFPE Congress in Vienna, Austria on April 18, 2010, on the results of World Health Organization's World Mental Health Survey, 19% of studied Americans experienced a clinical anxiety disorder in the previous twelve-month period, which pushes the United States into a ranking of first place in this category.

What do Americans have to be so nervous about? At least part of the answer which explains why Americans have such a high degree of clinical anxiety, is contained in the following paragraphs as it is undeniably stressful living in America under the present set of conditions. American Happiness Levels

The United States is a nation in decline. Last year the U.S. came in 10th place in the annual rankings of World's Happiest Countries. This year America has fallen to 12th. And this is in a country which historically believed that the next generation would do better than their parents. That is certainly no longer the case. This marks the first time in the history of the Legatum Institute's Prosperity Index that America has not placed in the top ten.

Venezuela's Collapse: Horror Beyond Belief

Bob Adelmann; Oct. 18, 2016

Venezuela

When Matt O'Brien updated his previous article on the slow-motion collapse of Venezuela on Monday for the Washington Post, he reviewed the symptoms achingly familiar to those following the events: the collapse of oil prices; the incompetence of the cronies running the state-owned oil company (former Marxist Hugo Chávez replaced the workers who knew what they were doing with political cronies who didn't); the inflation of the currency followed as night follows day, with price controls to mask the resulting inflation; inflation, as measured by the black market's pricing of the Venezuelan bolivar, causing the bolivar to lose more than 90 percent of its value in just two years; the empty supermarket shelves; the oppression by police of those standing in long lines to purchase whatever might be left in those stores; and on and on. As O'Brien lamented:

[Those economic policies have] left Venezuela's supermarkets without enough food, its breweries without enough hops to make beer, and its factories without enough pulp to produce toilet paper.

And then he added: "It's only going to get worse."

Unfortunately, it already has. Starvation is leading to staggering rises in infant mortality, and prison riots are leading to cannibalism.

"Scenes From The Apocalypse" - Mass Immigration Ruins The Streets Of France

Tyler Durden, Oct. 15, 2016

Paris

The Paris you know or remember from adverts or brochures no longer exists. While no part of Paris looks like the romantic Cliches in Hollywood movies, some districts now resemble post-apocalyptic scenes of a dystopian thriller. This footage, taken with a hidden camera by an anonymous Frenchman in the Avenue de Flandres, 19th Arrondissement, near the Stalingrad Metro Station in Paris as well as areas in close proximity, shows the devastating effects of uncontrolled illegal mass immigration of young African males into Europe.

If it weren't for the somewhat working infrastructure, the scene might as well have been the setting of movie shooting - or a slum in Mogadishu. The streets are littered in garbage, the sidewalks are blocked with trash, junk and mattresses, thousands of African men claim the streets as their own - they sleep and live in tents like homeless people.

If no portable toilets are in reach, open urination and defecation are commonplace. Tens of thousands of homeless Illegal immigrants, undocumented or waiting for a decision of their asylum application, waste away trying to pass the time in the city. Although their prospects of being granted asylum as Africans are bleak, they're hoping for a decision that would grant them an apartment, welfare and make France their new home.

The conditions are absolutely devastating. The police have given up trying to control these areas, the remaining French people avoid the areas at all cost, crime and rape is rampant, just recently mass brawls and riots made the news as fights broke out near the Stalingrad metro station.

If current trends continue and the French become minority in their own capital in even more areas, scenes like this might spread to areas frequented by tourists, forever changing the last romantic parts of Paris that match what most people have in mind when they think of the iconic city.

Famine has killed thousands in West Africa, UN says

65,000 people are in catastrophic situation, 6 million considered food insecure
Thompson Reuters; Sep. 30, 2016

Famine

Tens of thousands of people are dying of hunger in the area of west Africa where Boko Haram militants are active, the United Nations humanitarian co-ordinator for the region, said during a news conference on Friday.

About 65,000 people are in a "catastrophe" or "Phase 5" situation, according to an assessment by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), the recognized system for declaring famines.

  • Nigerian children 'clinging to life' as world ignores crisis
  • Liberals eye revamped West Africa special forces mission

Phase 5 applies when, even with humanitarian assistance, "starvation, death and destitution" are evident.

"The tragedy of using the F word is that when you apply it, it's too late," said Toby Lanzer, who has also worked in South Sudan, Darfur and Chechnya.

Boko Haram militants have killed about 15,000 people and displaced more than two million in a seven-year insurgency, and they still launch deadly attacks despite having been pushed out of the vast swathes of territory they controlled in 2014.

"This is the first time I've come across people talking about phase 5. The reason for that was simply a lack of access. We couldn't get to places," Lanzer said.

"Because of the insecurity sown almost exclusively by Boko Haram, people have missed three planting seasons."

Asked if it was safe to assume that tens of thousands of people were dying, Lanzer said: "It's not what we're assuming, it's what the IPC states. And I back that number.

Fukushima Radiation Has Contaminated The Entire Pacific Ocean - And It's Going To Get Worse

The nuclear disaster has contaminated the world's largest ocean in only five years and it's still leaking 300 tons of radioactive waste every day.
Whitney Webb, Sep. 29, 2016

Fukushima

What was the most dangerous nuclear disaster in world history? Most people would say the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine, but they'd be wrong. In 2011, an earthquake, believed to be an aftershock of the 2010 earthquake in Chile, created a tsunami that caused a meltdown at the TEPCO nuclear power plant in Fukushima, Japan. Three nuclear reactors melted down and what happened next was the largest release of radiation into the water in the history of the world. Over the next three months, radioactive chemicals, some in even greater quantities than Chernobyl, leaked into the Pacific Ocean. However, the numbers may actually be much higher as Japanese official estimates have been proven by several scientists to be flawed in recent years.

If that weren't bad enough, Fukushima continues to leak an astounding 300 tons of radioactive waste into the Pacific Ocean every day. It will continue do so indefinitely as the source of the leak cannot be sealed as it is inaccessible to both humans and robots due to extremely high temperatures.

"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)

Summary
Will these rumors of war lead to actual war? There is already war in several places; fortunately, they are mostly on the other side of the world from those of us who live in North America. However, with the unrest in the U.S. and the increased friction with Russia there could soon be trouble on this side of the pond. Now is the time to pay attention. Now is the time to understand prophecy. And now is the time to be serious about our relationship with God.
