Mt. St. Helens - More Trouble Coming?

Is Mt. St. Helens getting ready to blow? Are we facing a bank holiday and what does that mean? Is Jerusalem going to the Arabs? Iran is pushing ahead with its nuclear program. The swine flu is a pandemic and growing. World events are definitely going in the direction we would expect from prophecy.

What if Mt. St. Helens blows up (environmental disaster), the swine flu takes off (medical disaster), Iran goes nuclear (military/political trouble) and a bank holiday (financial crisis) all happen close together? We would be in a state of chaos.

Read about these and more in this month's newsletter. Remember, I am just sharing items that seem to relate to prophecy. I do not necessarily endorse or even agree with what others have written.

Supervolcano May Be Brewing Beneath Mt. St. Helens

Is a supervolcano brewing beneath Mt. St. Helens? Peering under the volcano has revealed what may be an extraordinarily large zone of semi-molten rock, which would be capable of feeding a giant eruption.

"Magma can be detected with a technique called magnetotellurics, which builds up a picture of what lies underground by measuring fluctuations in electric and magnetic fields at the surface.

"The fields fluctuate in response to electric currents travelling below the surface, induced by lightning storms and other phenomena. The currents are stronger when magma is present, since it is a better conductor than solid rock.

"The column below Mt. St. Helens appears to connect to a huge zone of conductive material.

"This larger zone was first identified in the 1980s by another magneto telluric survey, and was found to extend all the way to beneath Mount Rainier 70 kilometres to the northeast, and Mount Adams 50 kilometres to the east. It was thought to be a zone of wet sediment, water being a good electrical conductor."

Obama Promised Arabs Jerusalem Will Be Theirs Official: President said Palestinian state with holy city capital 'in American interest' By: Aaron Klein / WorldNetDaily.com / May 30, 2009

JERUSALEM -- President Obama and his administration told Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during a meeting last week the U.S. foresees the creation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, according to a top PA official speaking to WND.

"'The American administration was very friendly to the position of the PA,' said Nimer Hamad, Abbas' senior political adviser.

"Last week, the State Department refuted a speech in which Netanyahu said Jerusalem never will be divided.

"'Jerusalem is Israel's capital,' Netanyahu said at an event marking Jerusalem's reunification. 'Jerusalem was always ours and will always be ours. It will never again be partitioned and divided.'

"In response, the State Department released a statement that Jerusalem 'is a final status issue.'"

Iran in Major Nuclear Expansion, U.N. Oversight Harder By: Mark Heinrich / The Washington Post and Reuters.com / June 5, 2009

VIENNA (Reuters) -- Iran has significantly expanded uranium enrichment with almost 5,000 centrifuges now operating and this has made it harder for U.N. inspectors to keep track of the disputed nuclear activity, an IAEA report said on Friday.

"Obtained by Reuters, the restricted International Atomic Energy Agency report said Iran had increased its rate of production of low-enriched uranium (LEU), boosting its stockpile by 500 kg to 1,339 kg in the past six months.

"Iran's improved efficiency in turning out potential nuclear fuel is sure to fan Western fears of the Islamic Republic nearing the ability to make atomic bombs, if it chose to do so.

"David Albright of the Institute for Science and International Security, a think tank that tracks proliferation issues, said Iran now had accumulated enough LEU to convert into high-enriched uranium (HEU) sufficient for one atom bomb."

WHO: Swine flu pandemic has begun, 1st in 41 years News.Yahoo.com / June 11, 2009
swine flu virus

GENEVA -- Swine flu is now formally a pandemic, a declaration by U.N. health officials that will speed vaccine production and spur government spending to combat the first global flu epidemic in 41 years. Thursday's announcement by the World Health Organization doesn't mean the virus is any more lethal -- only that its spread is considered unstoppable.

"The pandemic decision might have been made much earlier if WHO had more accurate information about swine flu's rising sweep through Europe. Chan said she called the emergency meeting with flu experts after concerns were raised that some countries, such as Britain, were not accurately reporting their cases.

"Chan said the experts unanimously agreed there was a wider spread of swine flu than was being reported.

"About half of the people who have died from swine flu were previously young and healthy -- people who are not usually susceptible to flu. Swine flu is also crowding out regular flu viruses. Both features are typical of pandemic flu viruses.

"The U.N. is keen to avoid panic. 'We must guard against rash and discriminatory action, such as travel bans or trade restrictions,' said U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon."

Bank Holiday Coming? Prepare TheComingDepression.blogspot.com / June 21, 2009
dollar burning

"'Some US embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies; enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of US cash to purchase currencies from those govts, quietly. But not £'s. Inside the State Dept there is a sense of sadness and foreboding that "something" is about to happen, unknown re a date -- just that within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days.'

"Bob quotes another source that 'Panasonic has told their people to be back in Japan by Sept 09.'

"Harry Schultz, dean of newsletter writers, has quoted the Chapman letter of May 30 regarding US embassies being sent large amounts of cash with which to buy local *currencies, to last them a year. Here is Harry's remarkable take on the situation:

"'My HSL suspicion is that the elite plan another FDR style "bank holiday" of indefinite length, perhaps very soon, to let the insiders sort-out the bank mess which is getting more out of their control every day.* Insiders want/need to impose new bank rules. Widespread nationalization could result, already under way. It could also lead to a formal US$ devaluation, as FDR did by revaluing gold (& then confiscating it). But devalue against what? The euro? Doubtful. Gold? Maybe. Or vs. the IMF basket of currencies (which seems more likely) -- & much in the news recently. Any kind of bank holiday will push the US$ lower, which may be a bonus benefit to their ongoing scenario of letting the $ fall. Such a fall would get the devaluation they want without having to declare it. In sum, the insiders want more bank & system control, fewer banks & a lower US$. A bank holiday would suit all their needs.

"'Obviously, U can't open safeboxes if the banks are closed, so plan accordingly. All this is speculation, but we have to go with what we've got, scraps of info that point to certain possibilities. In any case such a closure will, IMO, come sooner or later, as the worst of the embedded derivatives are still to be faced. We are years away from solving them because the controllers don't want to; their fingerprints are all over them. ***

"'PS: during the FDR bank holiday, thousands of banks never reopened; it was a face-saving way of shutting them down. I would guess the same would occur today; thousands have little or no net value, loaded with debt, bad mortgages.

"'*PPS: A Bob Chapman subscriber reported overhearing 2 FEMA jacketed men talking to a police chief in Calif. They wanted to federalize the police across the US. They (govt) would be closing banks in late Aug, early Sept and that it will get ugly.' Prepare for worst case, as any good Boy or Girl Scout would do. J"

California Collapsing Washington and Wall Street seem to be treating California s if it were a sideshow in the financial circus of these turbulent times. By: Martin D. Weiss, Ph.D. / Money and Markets.com / June 22, 2009
california collapsing

"Washington and Wall Street seem to be treating California as if it were a sideshow in the financial circus of these turbulent times.

"It's not.

"California is home to the largest manufacturing belt in the United States and to Silicon Valley, the nation's largest high-tech center.

"California is America's most populous state with 38 million people. Its GDP of $1.8 trillion is the largest in the U.S. Its economy is bigger than those of Russia, Brazil, Canada, or India."

"California's inventory of foreclosed homes is skyrocketing. Home prices are plunging. And the impact of surging unemployment is just beginning to show up in the data:

"The state's unemployment rate has surged to 11.5 percent, the worst since World War II.

"And even assuming a national recovery, UCLA's Anderson Forecast projects an average unemployment rate of 12.1 percent from this fall through next spring.

"What about without a national recovery? California's jobless could go beyond 15 percent.

"'Our wallet is empty. Our bank is closed. And our credit is dried up.'

"These are not the words of a Dr. Doom in New York or a forlorn banker in Georgia. They represent the confession of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger before a rare joint session of the California legislature . . . and with no exaggeration!

"State officials continue to insist that a state default is unthinkable ... much like GM executives said their bankruptcy could never happen.

"In my view, there is a very HIGH probability that California will default.

Summary

I remember hearing Mt. St. Helens blow the first time many years ago from where I lived on southern Vancouver Island. The next eruption could be even bigger than that. I hope you have found some of this interesting. Again, I just select news items that seem to relate to prophecy. If you found something interesting there and do not already get my newsletter.
